Technical Note
Volatile acid with strong fuming characteristics. Used in ore leaching circuits and as a pH depressant in mineral flotation.

Corrosive. Causes severe burns to skin, eyes, and respiratory tract. Store in acid-resistant containers and provide adequate ventilation.
Logistics & Storage
Transported in rubber-lined steel tankers or HDPE carboys. Must be segregated from oxidizers and bases.
